Fresh off Adam's development table, I'm proud to announce the release of the new Tutorial Navigation Bar, located under the main topic bar when browsing any tutorial relevant pages on the site. This new feature gives you a quick way to browse the most popular categories on the site, or click edit and set it to show "My Categories", which will set the bar to display categories you've tagged as favorites. (You can add categories to your My Categories list by simply clicking on the round checkbox icon located next to the title when on a specific category page.

For example, when you visit the Photoshop category at http://www.pixel2life.com/tutorials/adobe_photoshop/ you will see a grey check icon to the left of "Photoshop Tutorials". Click that icon and Photoshop will be added to your Tutorial Nav Bar and to the My Categories area in the Category Browser.

Should you wish to not see the new Tutorial Navigation Bar at all, simply click on hide and it will completely close the bar. To re-enable it, click on User Dock at the top right and set the bar to "Show Bar" and click Save.

Please note you have to be a member and be logged in to access the edit functions.

1. All entries should be valid comments, not SPAM. Remember that all comments fall under the same critique rules as the feedback areas of the forum. Do not be abusive in your comments, be constructive.
2. You do not HAVE to vote on a rating, although it is encouraged. Just a comment is all you have to do.
3. Your comment can be on any tutorial submitted any time… you have as much of a chance of winning by selecting the oldest submitted tutorial as you do the first.
4. P2L will pay the cost of shipping, however the winner is responsible for paying any duties or taxes.

Once the winners have been selected, they will be contacted via PM and email and I will post their names in this post. Once notified, they have 1 week to claim their prizes by confirming their shipping addresses. If they do not confirm their prizes, a new winner will be selected the following Monday and so on…

I just wanted to apologize to everyone for my rather vaporish presence lately, I'm afraid my entire work schedule has been torn a new one. I have returned to my full-time dad duties during the day so my days are pretty much gone, and the new puppy we are fostering for a year has me up at 5AM – 6AM so I can no longer work the long nights I did to make sure everything was done. So now I am having a hard time adjusting to this crazy schedule and getting work done, so I apologize. This is why you haven't seen a newsletter in quite a few weeks, although I am committed to getting that back on track this week. I'm also not on the forums very much, I just don't have a chance. I actually spend most of the online time I do have answering emails and I am doing my best to get caught up on tutorial approvals again.

For those of you that were removed from my MSN list, don't be offended… At this time I only have P2L staff and family on my MSN list and other business related contacts because I really have no time to chatter anymore. If you need something, please send me a PM or an email.

I am doing my best to adjust, so please bear with me.

In other news, due to the relative low content level of the interview and review area, I merged this all in to the news area… they are all related anyhow so I felt this made sense to centralize everything anyhow. So just in case you were wondering what happened to the tabs on the main page for those sections, you can now find it all under News.
